We have a unique role available here at M2M where you will be pivotal in continuing the growth of the charity. The role is based on keeping the administration and operational side of the charity inline but with your own autonomy to help make decisions and push the charity forward. This will be a rewarding hybrid and flexible working role. You will be required to travel to Bath or London at least twice a month for planning meetings.
As the Charity Manager, you will be running the business-as-usual functions and facilitate the growth, sustainability and developmentof M2M. This will be through line management and nurturing of M2M staff, developing the fundraising strategy, managing the charity budget, filing duties and policies to build the foundations for continued success and the ability to increase our impact. You will also work with the Co-Founder in evolving the charity’s strategy and reviewing priorities on a regular basis.
The charity is looking to have some significant growth this year so we are looking for somebody with experience in the charity sector or in management that is looking to really make a difference to a small charity. Ultimately, the role is best suited to someone who enjoys working closely with a small, internal team, who is highly motivated, and not afraid to put in the work to drive the charity forward.

We believe in the undeniable healing powers of the outdoors and adventure. Every year we take beneficiaries facing mental health struggles because of adversity on challenges across the globe. These trips act as the catalyst for change after which we offer on-going support in the form of life coaching, funding towards therapy, career grants and much more to ensure the individual can realise that change and take steps towards a brighter future.
Main Duties -
Work with the Co-Founder to create a strategic plan and annual report for approval by the trustees.
Operate within the annual budget and ensure management and HR policies are up to date.
Have up to date policies and governance.
Manage Events Executive and Social Media Manager.
Manage monthly newsletter, collating information and inputting into templates.
Reconcile Xero and responsibility over financial structures.
Send financial reports to trustees quarterly.
Establish and monitor key indicators of the organisation’s impact and financial health and report to trustees.
Assist with the events structure and support with admin.
Work with the accountancy firm to submit an annual return.
Write applications for funding grants in line with the budget.
Organising deck structure and copy to send to potential sponsors.
Updating website to make it current - uploading events, changes, pictures.
Admin - managing system/Google Drive/Microsoft etc.
Arranging merchandise - hats, bottles, kit.
Managing contracts with suppliers.
CRM system - making sure it works and is purposeful.
Potential attendance on our UK Walks & Abroad Adventures.
Manage grant financials.
