The Scarlett Group is made up of Four Pubs and a Café, and within this group is The White Hart Inn and beautiful Pub with Rooms opposite the cathedral in Wells. We are looking for brilliant communicators, who can influence and motivate a team of high-performing staff to achieve their full potential.
This role is a Live-in role, but we will also consider applicants who would prefer not to live on site.

Job Role:
- Full P&L responsibility, with a focus on driving sales and delivering great guest service and satisfaction every time
- Achieving all KPIs both financial and people focused
-To work with the Head Chef to ensure that our food offering meets all quality standards, and ensuring the Kitchen GPs are hit.
- To work with the Kitchen and Front of House Team to ensure a marked increase in Food Revenue.
- To oversee and manage the Accommodation side of the business that consists of 14 letting bedrooms.
-Develop and grow your team through effective and inspiring leadership capability
-Continually ensuring the highest standards are always achieved, operating in a safe and legal environment
- A great knowledge and understanding of beer, wines and spirits
- An excellent team leader with exceptional communication skills
- Be able to manage your time in the most effective way possible
- Manage Stock levels appropriately
- Delegate jobs to the relevant heads of department so that the business is run in the most efficient manner.
The Ideal Candidate:
- You will be an experienced General Manager, coming from either hospitality retail, or leisure backgrounds
- Be able to demonstrate P&L success
- Committed to delivering operational excellence
- Have a proven track record in developing people
- Strong drive to inspire, motivate and engage others, celebrating the successes of your team
- Ability to drive the company standards
