General Manager – Private Members Club

Location: London
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 plus bonus

Essential: Experience in Private Members Clubs

The Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic operator with a deep understanding of Private Members, food, restaurants, and bars.
This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of running a prestigious club set to open in March 2025.

Spanning three floors and featuring a restaurant and bar, the club focuses on social interaction and community, catering to each member's individual needs.
The atmosphere is light, cosy, and social – a place where members can work, play, dance, eat, and chat.

They are looking for someone with hospitality running through their veins, dedicated to the training and development of their team.
High energy and a hands-on approach are vital.
The successful candidate will be a constant presence among their team and guests, dedicated to getting everything just right, with the members as the ultimate focus of their efforts.

What They’re Looking For:

• Private Members Club Experience: Proven expertise in a Private Members Club environment.
  Candidates currently in a number two position, ready to step up into a GM role, are encouraged to apply.
  Plenty of support will be available from the wider team.
• Personality Matters: Collaboration, hard work, and a deep passion for hospitality are highly valued.
  The ideal candidate’s personality should reflect these values.
• L&D Enthusiast: A passion for Learning and Development is essential; nurturing and constantly improving the team should be a driving force.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Guest Relations.
• Financial Acumen: Excellent commercial skills and a strong understanding of P&L management are crucial.
• New Openings Experience: While not mandatory, prior experience with new venue openings is a plus.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading large teams, ideally comprising six direct reports.
