This beautiful centre enjoys private access to the water for dragonboating, whilst canoeing, kayaking and keelboat sailing take place at a nearbybeach.

THE ROLE 

The centre has abed capacity of 750 guests when fully operational. As the General Manager youwill play a crucial part in ensuring the PGL offering is delivered withexcellence to each and every customer, it continues to deliver a strongfinancial performance, all underpinned by a strong culture of excellent Healthand Safety and safeguarding.

Reporting tothe Regional Operations Manager, you’ll develop and lead the dynamic andinspirational team of 150 colleagues, setting clear objectives and ensuringthey have all the support they need to be successful in their roles. You’llembrace our core PGL values and implement them in the running of this 24/7operation, and the complex challenges associated with residential settings ofthis scale.

Excellentleadership, engagement and communication skills are only part of the role.  We are looking for an individual who has theskillset to truly deliver the PGL vision through outstanding colleagueengagement, commercial drive and customer experience worthy of this successfulPGL centre.

• Senior operational management experience from the outdoor activity sector or similar sector with a residential provision
  
• Confident in managing budgets, cost planning, reporting and forecasting
  
• A demonstrable track record in delivering excellent guest experiences
•  Strong leadership and people management skills
•  Knowledge of safeguarding principles and responsibilities
  
• Commitment to upholding strict Health, Safety and Food Hygiene standards
