This is a great opportunity for a General Manager to run a high footfall wet and dry leisure centre nr Preston with a well-established membership base, a large learn to swim programme and 60 class studio timetable, We are keen to hear from candidates who have a proven track record in the fitness industry as a GM running a large, fully staffed leisure operation working within either the leisure management or private sector who can demonstrate:
- Well-developed leadership and coaching skills, supporting and developing you HODS to deliver service and operational excellence.
- Confident in leading sales team to meet and exceed challenging sales and activity targets.
- Experienced managing a significant wetside operation and large learn to swim programme.
- Strong on health and safety, carrying out risk assessments.
- Experienced with managing a £1m turnover health and fitness operation.
- Comfortable working 3-4 duty management shifts and working 1 weekend in 2.
In addition to a basic salary of 40K, there is the opportunity to earn a 10% bonus, benefits include 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
