General Manager
This well-established boutique hotel and fine-dining restaurant near Oxford is looking for a dynamic hands-on General Manager to lead the team. The hotel has 23 bedrooms, 2 restaurants, an award-winning cocktail bar, private dining rooms and events space, with a full portfolio of weddings and functions throughout the year.
All departments are smart, well-organized, and professional. Standards throughout are high.
As GM you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the hotel including.
Taking a hands-on and direct approach with the team and the day-to-day operations.
Setting policies and processes, including standards of practice.
Ensuring full compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Managing employee and guest feedback.
Overseeing all rotas and shift planning.
Assist and oversee the recruitment and training of all employees, dealing with HR related queries, performance reviews, and payroll
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance; as well as maintaining budgets and optimising expenses
Experience Required
Minimum 3 year in a similar role.
Full understanding of cost management, GP and profit/loss.
Up to date with Epos software, online reservations and payroll management.
