SalaryWe are currently in urgent need of a General Practitioner (GP) to provide session coverage at a well-established GP Surgery located in Hackney.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face consultations and triage sessions with patients using the established EMIS Web system.
- Adhere to a schedule of 10-minute time slots for each consultation, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
- Provide comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans based on patients' symptoms and medical histories.
- Offer appropriate medical advice, prescriptions, and referrals to specialists, when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the EMIS Web system.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Follow clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified General Practitioner with relevant experience.
- Familiarity with the EMIS Web system is essential for efficient use during consultations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
- Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Valid medical licence and necessary certifications.
Details:
- Rate: £90 per hour.
- Sessions: 3-hour blocks available at the following times: 8:30 am - 11:30 am and 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
- Session breakdown includes both face-to-face consultations and triage slots.
- Each session consists of 10-minute time slots for patient consultations.
