AddressWe are looking for an experienced Generator Engineer to join our team in Pontypridd.
Working both on the road and in the depot, you will service and repair our full range of power generation equipment, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met and maintained. You will also take responsibility for the refurbishment of equipment and products, liaising with the Depot Manager when spare parts are required and ensuring all service records are updated onto the in-house system.
What will you do?
- Maintenance of generators, including electrical and mechanical testing
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Installation and commissioning of temporary generators
- Load bank testing
- Control system wiring
- Site surveys to support project sales
- Participation in company on-call rota
- Completion and submission of accurate job reports
- Booking of stock items into and out of depot, in line with company policy
You will be provided with:

What you will bring?
The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment, great communication skills and manual handling awareness skills. If you work in the Hire industry that’s great, if not that’s not a problem as long as you can demonstrate a sound understanding of the maintenance of the equipment we hire.
Experience working on diesel generators, tank or cable distribution is advantageous.
A full driving licence is necessary for consideration for this role.
