A specialist engineering consultancy with projects in the Southeast of England are seeking an experienced geotechnical site engineer to join the team on a range of projects, on a contract basis. With plenty of civil and environmental work and an established team, this is a great opportunity for a contract worker to progress and continue developing experience.
The Geotechnical Engineer role offers:

The Geotechnical Engineer will be working on a contract basis on a range of site investigation projects, carrying out soil and rock logging, trial pitting, supervising drilling rigs, soil and water sampling and writing technical reports. A good level of experience and confidence in carrying out these responsibilities is required before starting the position.
The successful Geotechnical Engineer will:
- Have a good amount of experience in a Site Investigation position, with an understanding of soil sampling/logging and drilling practices.
- Have a degree in a relevant subject, for example geology.
- Live commutable to South West London and be willing to stay away from home at times for projects.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
