SalaryWe are seeking a German-speaking Insurance Supervisor for an international insurance group based in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will have be able to speak German fluently, and ideally have some knowledge of insurance and/or worked in the financial services industry.

Description
As the German-speaking Insurance Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise the insurance team and oversee daily operations within the department
- Handle insurance claims and liaising with insurance providers
- Maintain and update the claims management database
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Pursue their uninsured lost recovery team to ensure that costs are recovered in a timely manner and track costs to ensure that all recoverable items and expenditure are recovered
- Deal with queries with the insurance company until the claim is closed
- Implement risk management strategies and processes
- Provide guidance and support to team members
- Manage and resolving any insurance-related issues
- Participate in the continuous improvement of insurance processes and procedures
Profile
The successful Insurance Supervisor should have:
- Fluent German speaker
- Experience working in insurance ideally
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills and able to build strong working relationships
- The ability to effectively manage and resolve issues
- A track record of implementing successful risk management strategies
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
