GL Accountant
Full Time Permanent Onsite

Our client provides market-leading life safety solutions. They are looking for a GL Accountant to join their energetic team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the fixed assets schedule for CTC and NMN, including updating with additions and disposals, posting journal entries for depreciation, and matching control accounts with the fixed assets schedule.
- Complete ownership of prepayments for CTC and NMN by keeping the schedule up to date, maintaining backup for all prepayments, and matching control accounts to the prepayment schedule.
- Support the Financial Controller in the production of VAT submissions, including preparing VAT summary files, answering queries from the external tax partner, and informing relevant personnel about potential VAT outflows to ensure fund availability.
- Perform GRNI reconciliation by working closely with the supply chain to ensure the control account is kept up to date and supporting the Financial Controller in clearing the backlog.
- Update monthly exchange rates in ABM for all entities.
- Prepare, maintain, and report on service open calls.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries for service revenue accruals, and reverse entries from the previous period.
- Prepare, review, and post deferred revenue entries, including embedded revenue.
- Serve as backup and provide ongoing support for billing processes.
- Collaborate with receivables and complete monthly creditors reconciliations.
