Simon-Kucher is on a journey to build our Global DE&I function and incorporate diverse perspectives across all levels of the organization, to provide equitable processes for professional growth, and create an environment where employees feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged and valued for bringing their whole selves to work. The Global Director will bring unique, external thought leadership in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for professional services firms and will advise Partners/Board/CEO/CXOs/HR in this field. This individual will take responsibility for the overall DE&I strategy, including building out a global team of DE&I champions. This is an opportunity for a passionate change agent who will educate Partners and other colleagues, and make a real impact in the broader company.
- Oversee and drive global DE&I initiatives directly and through management of DE&I programmes
- Facilitate execution of mission and vision for DE&I at Simon-Kucher, with plans to continue to evolve DE&I for the future
- Serve as a leader, adviser, advocate, catalyst for change, and institutional resource focused on instilling DE&I into global talent and business programmes and activities
- Partner with Business and HR leaders, the Board, CEOs and CXOs to become a trusted adviser to the partnership on DE&I topics, and develop and implement specific diversity goals, and business plans, to align inclusion initiatives with business strategies and metrics focusing on the workplace, workforce, marketplace and community
- Take a consultative approach, act as thought-leader, influencer and subject matter expert on diversity and inclusion related issues that impact the global organization
- Design and implement metrics, monitoring and reporting systems to effectively benchmark organizational progress in DE&I
- Develop tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate the impact and ROI of initiatives; develop reports on programme effectiveness and make recommendations for programme enhancement and improvement
- Develop and implement best practices for DE&I action planning and ensure business accountability for follow up
- Work with senior leadership in designing and implementing organization-wide changes to ensure diversity, equity and respect for all teammates and clients
- Significant experience in DE&I; ideally gained in an international environment in the consulting or other professional services industry
- Experience in thought leadership and as a people manager to employees
- Demonstrated track record in developing and executing DE&I strategies
- Knowledge of interaction between strategy, operations, and processes within DE&I and/or HR in a matrix organisation
- Fluent understanding of and ability to navigate local/global dynamics
- Experience working at the most senior levels of leadership to develop budgets and investment plans for DE&I
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage and navigate ambiguity, work effectively with highly matrixed teams, and involve experts where appropriate
- Excellent communication skills with proven skills to influence and be a trusted partner to stakeholders
