Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Global Education Manager to join our Conservation, Welfare & Education* team on a permanent basis. The role can be based at multiple SEA LIFE or Merlin sites globally, with a hybrid element for those looking for more flexibility.

Join us as the Global Education Manager at SEA LIFE, where you'll spearhead the creation and oversight of cutting-edge strategies for impactful learning, discovery, and conservation education across our network. Be at the forefront of driving education and community engagement to fulfill SEA LIFE's mission in safeguarding our oceans, lakes, and rivers.
Your role will involve crafting a global strategy for learning and conservation, overseeing existing programs, and introducing new initiatives for successful strategy implementation. Dive into the development of metrics to assess program success, ensuring continuous evolution and improvement, while measuring their effectiveness.
Take charge of implementing, coordinating, and monitoring these activities worldwide, meticulously documenting and showcasing the impact and reach of SEA LIFE programs. Foster strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders, contributing to research and policy direction, and inspiring positive behavior change to protect our marine world.

- Bachelor’s degree in science and considerable experience of developing, implementing and monitoring, education in an informal learning environment
- A strong background in education and an understanding of social science, marine biology and conservation
- Experience developing and delivering an education strategy across multiple sites
- Competent in Microsoft Office and Microsoft TEAMs
- Successful track record of writing engaging but accurate interpretative information
- Committed to the role of zoos and aquariums in the conservation of nature and natural places
- Ability to motivate others remotely and in-person, bring colleagues and managers on board, and to remain goal-oriented across wide-ranging and shifting areas of influence
