Global ESG Reporting Analyst
Location: Novartis, Prague, Czech Republic; United Kingdom #LI-Hybrid
About the Role:
The Global ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Reporting Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of non-financial ESG Metrices for internal and external purposes and for supporting the ESG Deputy Reporting Lead in his/her areas of responsibility. It is a highly visible role where she/he will actively shape and adapt the reporting to new standards for non-financial reporting allowing Novartis to strengthen its reputation and market access positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure timely, accurate and auditable reporting of global non-financial ESG Metrices in line with internally and externally defined ESG Reporting deadlines and standards (ie. ESG Reporting Manual)
• Support the ESG Global closing process including data validation, global closing meeting, closing deck and certification as well performing monthly analytics and rotating deep dives
• Support the standardization/definition of the ESG Reporting processes and ESG Metrices, engage with relevant system and business teams to ensure optimal integration and accurate reflection of the non-financial ESG Reporting across ESG reporting systems and tools
• Drive various ESG related projects which vary depending on priority needs, ESG benchmarking and ESG initiatives
• Ensure controls in standard processes are in line with the defined ESG controls framework. Support the internal and external audit processes
• Act as a role model with due consideration for inclusivity, proactivity and respect. Focus on being results driven with strong customer focus and an enthusiasm and passion for developing ESG knowledge and network
• Contribute to the ESG Operational Boards to collaborate cross-functionally on ESG related reporting topics
• Promote the importance of ESG throughout the organization

Essential Requirements:
• Some experience in finance, accounting, HR, including experience with reporting and analytics
• Project management and change management skills
• Experience in ESG reporting and ESG regulations an advantage.
• Experience in Audit assurance, compliance and internal control frameworks & reporting an advantage
• Agility to adapt and react to adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Learning agility and enthusiasm for ESG
