A global software development company is looking for a Global Mobility Specialist EMEA to join their team in Shoreditch. The role involves acting as a subject matter expert and program manager for immigration and relocation in the region, following global processes and policies while accommodating local nuances. The responsibilities include serving as a central point of contact for global HR partners, advising on immigration needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing mobility services, maintaining records, offering guidance to employees, and contributing recommendations for program enhancement at local and global levels. Additionally, the position involves vendor management, training provision, and fostering positive relationships within the team and with stakeholders.
This role is 12 months temp, hybrid (2 days in office), and paying up to £34.50/hour (around £55K/year).
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage immigration and relocation programs, aligning with global processes and policies while addressing local nuances.
• Serve as the main contact for global HR, talent partners, and hiring managers on employer-sponsored immigration and relocations.
• Advise on immigration needs to integrate Global Mobility into the global talent strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to administer immigration and relocation, following GM manager and program owner directives.
• Handle mobility services, inquiries, and maintain detailed records of regional processes.
• Provide guidance, assess costs, manage vendors, offer training, process invoices, and suggest program enhancements at local and global levels.

Key Requirements Include:

• Minimum 5 years of Global Mobility experience.
• Strong immigration expertise, particularly in the EMEA region (UK, Switzerland, France, Germany).
• Experience in intern immigration and supporting Global Mobility for University programs.
• In-depth understanding of Global Mobility complexities within EMEA.
• Proficient in international HR, compensation, and benefits; strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management, planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
