Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive approach - owning the category plan and implement this with a global remit within a cross-function environment (global, regional and with their different brands)
- You will need to influence stakeholders but in the right way, taking them on the procurement journey and making them feel heard. In this environment, building and nurturing relationships is very important - walk before you can run
- Categories will vary across Professional Services, SaaS, Finance and HR - end to end role (good balance between strategic work and delivery)
- Supplier relationship management - engage key suppliers to help strengthen and improve their performance and provide transparency to help improve performance and negate any issues with pace
- Drive savings but also align to wider business goals, adding wider value
- Navigate a fast-paced environment, able to cut through the noise in a global business
- No line management in this role- individual contributor
Key Skills:
- Able to build and implement strategic category plans autonomously
- Experience of cross-functional category management or a range of categories including Professional Services, SaaS, Finance and HR
- A self-starter who is proactive in approach
- Someone who would be able to navigate a very fast paced environment
- Strong stakeholder skills, able to drive change and influence decision making
