Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Global Product Head of SupplyChain Finance. The base location for this role is London with a Hybrid working model.

The purpose of this role is to drive the core product development and commercialization of GTRF product, with a specific focus on Supply Chain Finance (SCF) and Embedded Finance.

The role is instrumental in the design and build of the products and proposition that will facilitate the digitization of SCF and growth in the HSBC customer base.

The senior product lead will be accountable for the successful delivery of the product roadmap, ensuring benefits realisation. This includes upfront involvement in the ideation and design phases, analysis of target customer base, definition of requirements and product development.

In this role, you will:

•    Ensure solutions relevant and aHead of market – organically and inorganically
•    Develop Product strategies that drive market share and growth
•    Active product life cycle management focusing on product economics
•    Product profitability – pricing, distribution, commercialization
•    Drive the digitisation of trade – sustainable propositions, industry digitisation, platform partnerships & innovation

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Extensive knowledge of GTRF, the trade products and the market dynamics specifically Supply Chain Finance
•    An understanding of the changing regulatory environment externally and its potential impact on the business
•    Demonstrate sound commercial judgment and strategic vision 
•    Experience of managing large complex teams across multiple locations
•    Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills 
•    Ability to cope with pressure in a dynamic, fast growing and moving environment
