Global Security Quality Control Manager

The Global Security Quality Control Manager coordinates and maintains the Information Security Control & Compliance Framework and Security Certifications. The role has a Global scope/location, the position can be filled in any location where Arcadis has a legal entity.

Directly reports to Global Security Control & Compliance Director

Indirect reports (dotted line) Global Security Quality Managers and Specialists

Role accountabilities:

Internal Control

• Maintain information security control framework and IT control framework in alignment with new and updated international standards.
• Own and coordinate the process of regular reviews of Information Security controls and IT controls plus rolling up to annual compliance statements.
• Ensure internal and external audit reports regarding Information Security contain the right management responses.
• Prepare annual external audits and internal audits on Information Security
• Act as the main point of contact with the external auditor and internal auditor for Information Security.
• Ensure timely and adequate input on client questionnaires sustainability and other (integrated) reporting.
• Coordinate timely delivery of external assurance statements by key suppliers.

Compliance

• Maintain an overview of all information security laws and regulations in the countries where Arcadis is present and incorporate these into our control framework.
• Same for the demands of our insurers
• Same for the demands of our client as per contract.
• Run projects to implement necessary controls for compliance with client security requirements.

Security Certifications

• Run projects to implement necessary controls to achieve security certifications and external assurance statements. Be responsible for the certification and assurance processes.

Key Shared Accountabilities:

• The focal point for certification and/or compliance from the business together with other Quality Control Directors/Managers and the Security Control & Compliance Director
• Guide, train, and coach Security Quality Managers/Specialists on control frameworks.
• Initiate and drive security control framework improvements.
• Initiate and drive security certification improvements.
• Keep law & regulations overview up to date.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience working in Security Control & Compliance; preferably experience with ISO27001 implementations, internal and external audits, and information security-related laws and regulations. In-depth understanding of ISO27001 and security controls. Certified Information systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent helpful
  • Breath of experience: Working internationally, across different industries and business lines and/or functions, managing projects impacting people/issues/solutions across organizational boundaries.
  • Managing Change: Managing and leading change into other services or products, operating with new business models, turning around underperforming programs, and driving standardization and automation.
  • Mobilizing talent: Embracing new workforce profiles and planning approaches, attracting, and developing talent, catalyzing a movement.
• Demonstrates strong project management skills, takes ownership and achieves results, and drives improvement. Establishes good relations while staying critical and objective.
