Job Snapshot:
We are looking for a Senior Global Product Architect – Data & AI who will own the definition, design and thought leadership of best practices, delivery blueprints and innovative approaches for solutions and services of the Global Data & AI Center or Excellence (CoE) and SoftwareOne Intelligence Fabric reporting into the Director, Application Services function.
Combining strong expertise in the area of Data & AI with profound understanding of the market they anticipate demand and innovate on behalf of customers driving clear and differentiated SoftwareOne value proposition in synergy with all SoftwareOne’s capabilities and services
Responsibilities:
- Product Design & Innovation: Drive the creation of repeatable Data & AI solutions and accelerators, capitalizing on ongoing projects and partnerships with hyperscalers to package cutting-edge offerings accelerating time-to-value for SoftwareOne customers.
- Strategic Partnership Management: Guide the technology collaboration with hyperscaler partners, including the realization of joint data and AI offerings, ensure our offerings are at the cutting edge of technology and market needs.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with internal Centres of Excellence and service units to promote integration and synergy across our Data & AI initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to solution development and delivery.
- Product & Delivery Strategy: Define and implement delivery and product strategies that align with our corporate goals, driving growth and thought leadership in the Data & AI space.
- Delivery Excellence: Elevate our delivery efforts by being a trusted advisor in the development of proposals, solution designs, and architectures, particularly for strategic customers and significant deals. Innovate in creating demos, POCs, and presales artifacts that underscore our value proposition.
- Advanced Advisories: Steer our Data Foundations and Analytics & AI Advisory services, employing our established methodology and delivery toolkit
- SoftwareOne Intelligence Fabric Development: Champion the development of our SWO Intelligence Fabric by setting global delivery standards
- Delivery Enablement & Thought Leadership: Design delivery and pre-sales enablement initiatives, map providing expertise and knowledge transfer to enhance delivery effectiveness.
- Establish yourself as a thought leader through contributions to industry consortia and presence at local and international industry events.
- Passionate about Data & AI: A history in the field of Data & AI showing a consistent track record of education, experimentation and staying up-to-date in the space of data and AI technologies and business scenarios. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cutting edge and legacy Big Data and AI technologies and methodologies such as Hadoop, Spark, DataWarehouse, LakeHouse, Computer Vision, NLP, Neural Networks, OpenAI and Claude, to name a few.
- Solid understanding of one or more of the Data & AI portfolios from Microsoft, AWS, Google and Databricks. Candidates with relevant technical certifications will be preferred.
- Experience of working in matrix organizational structures in or with Sales, Pre-Sales and Professional Services roles; Understading of their dynamics, tools, targets and motivations with a strong ability to collaborate
- A strong public speaker, demonstrating a credible history of on-stage and (social) media presence.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to take calculated risks and deal with change and uncertainty in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Leadership and Collaboration: A proven track record of steering and influencing cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments to bring their offering to life.
- A track record of successful and failed product and professional service offerings in the domain of Data & AI.
