£19,070 - £20,151 (28.8 hours/week) Fixed Term (until 31/10/2024)

We are looking to appoint a seasonal Golf Course Operative to work at North Inch Golf Course, within the community green space team from mid March to 31st October 2024. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team who look after the day-to-day operation of the Golf Course. Duties will include welcoming golfers and collecting green fees as well as taking bookings over the phone, by email and in person. The successful candidate will also assist with the marketing and promotion of the Golf Course online and good computer skills would be an advantage. The role may at times include assisting with certain Golf Course maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, leaf blowing, litter picking, raking bunkers and replacing divots on the course. This will require a certain level of physical fitness and training will be given.
Hours are worked on a rota system which includes regular evening and weekend work. Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate may be expected to work out of doors on a regular basis. This post is fixed term until 31st October 2024.
The Individual
You must have a basic Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette along with a keen interest in the sport. You must have experience of dealing with the public. You must be computer literate with experience of using various IT systems and working with Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
