Description
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Goods in FLT Driver to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our client's operations. Reporting to the Goods controller, working within the Goods In department, you will be responsible for monitoring material stocks on site order picking material JIT for the packaging lines. Ensuring materials are returned to locations monitoring and reporting damaged stock.
FLT duties include loading/unloading of materials or finished goods.
Job Responsibilities:
" Efficiently operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to transport goods within the warehouse.
" Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
" Organise and maintain inventory, keeping track of stock levels.
" Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations.
" Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
" Ensure all goods entering site are signed for, all deliveries are GR using RF transaction when applicable.
" Ensure all deliveries have been issued with a PO number on SAP
" Monthly material stock counts report excessive loses to Goods In controller.
Requirements:
" Valid FLT license and demonstrated proficiency in operating a Forklift Truck.
" GCSE's including Maths and English.
" Relevant equivalent (Minimum NVQ 2)
" SAP Knowledge
" Basic Computer skills (Word Excel Spread sheets
" Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
" Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
" Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
" Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
" Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
