We are actively seeking a proficient Senior Legal Administrative Assistant to join our client's esteemed Governance Team. This position is based either in their London or Warwick offices, allowing for a flexible and hybrid working arrangement, with the possibility of up to three days in the office per week.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Governance Team's statutory compliance outsourcing services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of Confirmation Statements for electronic filing.
- Effective communication with clients.
- Assistance in preparing resolutions for annual accounts approval.
- Timely filing to Companies House and other relevant authorities.
- Preparation of dormant accounts.
- Monitoring Companies House filings.
- Conducting annual Know-your-client checks.
- Facilitating the incorporation of companies.
- Managing UK establishment registrations.
- Overseeing VAT registration, bank account opening, and insurance processes.
- Handling changes in company name, Registered Office Address, and Company Secretarial appointments.
- Establishing client data files and ensuring compliance with Money Laundering regulations.
- Vigilant monitoring of filing deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Maintenance of the list of Registered Office clients.
- Follow-up on VAT registrations and bank accounts.
- Efficient filing and document maintenance in the IT system.
- Ensuring client files (statutory books) are systematically organised.
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and special client projects.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years of legal administrative or legal secretarial experience.
- Capability to work in either the London or Warwick office minimum of 3 days per week.
- A degree in a legal/business discipline is preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
The salary for this position is competitive, ranging between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
