Job description
The GP SpecialtyAdministrator Assistant will work closely with the GP Training Programme Directors (TPDs) and GP Specialty Training Programme Administrator for all aspects of the programme. The TPDs are local General Practitioners who spend only a minority of their time within the Medical Education Department. Because of the nature of the TPDs commitment to general practice, contact between GP Specialty Training Administrator, GP Specialty Training Administrator Assistant and TPDs can be infrequent and for this reason many of the tasks carried out by the Administrator and Administrator Assistant require a degree of independent work. This post supports the administration of the West Cambridgeshire GP Specialty Training Programme based in Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
To administer the GP Training programme budget as set by NHS England in liaison with the Medical Education Team Leader. To work with the GP TPDs to develop the programme and to provide support to the GP PG DiTs. To provide high quality and consistent management and administrative support to deliver the services in a timely manner as outlined by specific services.
