KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Establish an understanding of setting out fundamentals from first principles, and ability to process and understand 3D models, use GPS and localisation setting equipment
Assisting in daily planning and contributing to site management and processes
Completing daily/weekly surveys of any work being carried out where necessary
Contributing to site diaries and record keeping
Problem solving on site and helping site supervisors come up with solutions based on engineering understanding and experience
Ensuring works are carried out to specification and compliant with Quality standards which would stand up to audit
Upholding a high standard of Health & Safety and effectively contributing to success in this area with the rest of your team
An understanding of commercial awareness, efficiency and productivity.
Providing a crucial link between the field and the office
QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES
A construction or civil engineering degree (BEng, BSc, MEng)
Good organisation skills
Excellent communication skills
Professional pride and a commitment to Quality
An interest in modern engineering and construction techniques, sustainable initiatives and carbon reduction
Keen problem solvers with engineering solutions and resilience to see tasks through
Understanding working methods and forward planning, with some programming ability
Confident, capable, self-starting team player, displaying autonomy once comfortable with working environment and scope
