Miryco Consultants are working with a London based FinTech seeking a Junior Front End Developer to join their team.
You will be joining a very high calibre, driven, and collaborative team, with a huge opportunity for growth in the long-term.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily using JavaScript and React, take ownership for our front-end interface for internal and external audiences to access and view bespoke and tailored reports.
- Work with Consultants to interpret and communicate their vision for relaying complex data sets to clients.
- Develop and support reporting processes as they evolve, maintaining any issues that arise.
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and overall improvement of existing processes.
Requirements:
- Internship in Front End development.
- A keen eye for good user interface design and user experience.
- Experience with JavaScript ecosystem, specifically with React.js, HTML, and CSS
- Self-motivated, engaged developer, who is comfortable owning the creation of our front-end web interface.
- A university degree of 2:1 or higher in a quantitative subject.
Additional preferred experience:
- Experience of embedding graphical output into a web application (i.e. dash)
- An eye for graphic design
- Python programming experience
- Some back-end experience
- Experience with testing frameworks
- Self-starter and strong communicator
Location: Soho, London
Salary: £32,000 with a discretionary bonus (average 10%)
Hybrid working: This will be 4 days in office with 1 day work from home.
