SalaryJackson Hogg is partnered with an innovative technology business who are looking for a Graduate Physicist to join their team. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced physicists on a variety of research and development projects. The successful candidate will contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and scientific inquiry across various areas of physics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments under the supervision of senior physicists, including setup, data collection, and analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of experimental protocols and procedures.
- Perform mathematical modelling and simulation to support experimental design and data interpretation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex scientific problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and findings in technical reports and presentations.
- Stay updated on advancements in the field of physics through literature reviews, seminars, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master s degree in physics or related field.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of fundamental physics principles.
- Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific instrumentation.
- Proficiency in mathematical modelling and simulation techniques.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++ is desirable.
