SalaryA Building, Refurbishment and Fitout Contractor based in Co. Antrim has an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
Reporting to the Senior QS, you will be involved on the following:
- Procurement of subcontractors and negotiation of contracts
- Management of subcontractor accounts
- Estimations
- Valuations
- Administering contracts
- Produce cost value reconciliations and monthly forecast
Key attributes of the Quantity Surveyor role include:
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Minimum of one years' experience (placement/ post qualification in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Good understanding of building technology and construction processes
- Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook Email, Calendar and Microsoft Excel
- Organised, with good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Can adapt to different tasks quickly, efficiently and confidently
- Capable of working in an autonomous or team orientated environment
- Interpret information and instructions correctly and carry out tasks accordingly
