Internal Sales Executive required for an Electronics solutions provider and value add supplier (electronic components, embedded solutions, displays, printers, fans, etc) based in the Reading (Theale) area. Key markets include Defence & Aerospace, Fire & Security, Instrumentation, Industrial, Medical, Telecoms, Transport and POS.

Graduate Sales Executive - Electronics Position Overview

1. Generation and development of direct business (Core Requirement):
2. a) The generation of new customer prospects and account managing those prospects from the start of the sales cycle though to the post-sales operations.
3. b) To look after assigned existing customers / accounts and to develop and increase these accounts accordingly.
4. c) Proactively hunt for new companies and generate new opportunities for our products.
5. d) Proactively call databases names to generate sales leads.
6. e) Record/update information on database.
7. Help maintain and develop Company Business as follows (Support Requirements):-
8. a) Responding professionally to incoming sales calls.
9. b) Preparing quotations and literature for customers.
10. c) Maintaining quotations, samples and loan logs.
11. d) Liaise with and offer support to external sales force.
12. e) Resolve customer problems relating to pricing, supply and product selection.
13. f) Maintain customer files and records.
14. g) Maintain and update price lists as required.
15. h) Take customer orders by telephone.
16. i) Pass orders received to Operations in a timely manner.
17. j) Support marcom activities as required.
18. k) Interact with Suppliers as required.
19. l) Help with general administration including filing.
20. m) Help in warehouse as required.
21. n) Other tasks as may be required.

Graduate Sales Executive - Electronics Position Requirements

• A technical or other suitable qualification - preferably to HNC level.
• Experience of selling connectors/components would be ideal.

Knowledge of the following would be beneficial however training can be provided:

• Remuneration: Circa 25k - 45k (Basic) + Bonus
