Graduate Science Learning Mentor - The Role
Based within the Science department of this outstanding secondary school
Use your expert subject knowledge to work with students and boost their attainment and progress
Working on an individual or group basis to explain scientific concepts to ensure understanding
Assisting teachers with lesson planning and creating resources
Being a role model for students who want to pursue Science as a career
Paid between GBP380-GBP480 per week in term time

Graduate Science Learning Mentor - The Requirements
1 minimum in your degree (various scientific disciplines are welcomed)
Strong A-levels
Prior experience working with young people would be beneficial but not essential
Motivation and determination to ensure progress and understanding
Be able to fit into a professional department and become a valued member of the school
