As a Graduate Software Engineer you will join one of the teams building the Fidessa trading platform. You could be writing an algorithm to intelligently automate order execution; building a highly resilient, global peer-to-peer network; tuning our low low-latency market access platform; or squeezing every last ounce of performance out of the in-memory database. Expect to be challenged, but, no matter what, you will be guided and supported by our team of passionate and experienced product managers, architects and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support well tested, high quality and maintainable software.
- Contribute and collaborate with product owners, architects, and other software engineers to deliver software components.
- Manage and prioritize own work workload to ensure the highest quality delivery to deadlines.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other STEM discipline
- Experience programming in C++ and/or Java and/or C#
Desirable
- Familiarity with Linux / Unix operating systems
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Financial markets knowledge, but, don't worry, we'll teach you all need to know.
