A fantastic secondary school in Melksham is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support children in KS3 and KS4 with their learning and ensure a safe and positive environment for them to thrive in.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to kick-start their career in education or for an experienced Teaching Assistant to take the next step towards being a teacher. A graduate with previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sport setting or in a similar classroom setting etc.

The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant will be committed, enthusiastic and demonstrate a passion for working with children. In this role you will provide support in Key Stage 3 and 4. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you'll create and maintain an engaging learning environment for a range of learning abilities. You'll be responsible for 1:1 support for special needs and lower ability pupils, and also provide feedback on student's progress to teachers as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
