Job title: Graduate Teaching Assistant– School of Finance and Management
Salary: Salary starting at Grade 6 (£23.78 per hour, inclusive of London Allowance) Contact hours are paid at a multiplier of 2.5 basic hours, with annual leave accrued and paid in April, July and December)
Location: Bloomsbury, London (Successful candidate must be based in the UK for the duration of their contract)
Contract type: Part-time, Fixed Term subject to SOAS Term dates and module-specific responsibilities

Skills and experience
Candidates will be expected to have specialist knowledge in the discipline(s) related to the contracted module, the ability to design and develop tutorial lessons for, and deliver engaging teaching to, undergraduate or postgraduate students from a diverse background, and strong time management skills, with the ability to plan work independently and meet varied deadlines.

Payment will generally be made over a period of ten, seven or four months according to your teaching and marking responsibilities. Annual salary will be calculated based on the number of contracted hours.
