Graduate Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching work closely with high achieving schools based in Winchester and our schools are currently seeking a creative and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join them. This is for a full time, on-going position, starting ASAP.
Working 1:1 and in groups with SEN pupils.
The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students in KS1 & KS2 and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £70
- Hours- 08:30 - 3:30
Your responsibilities will include;
- Classroom support - activities, organisation, engagement, behaviour, emotional support
- Working with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Support in therapy sessions
- Break/Lunch time supervision
- Keeping progress reports
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)
- Previous experience working in a UK School
- Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)
To be Eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
