As a specialist Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children on a 1 to 1 basis. The children that you will be working with will all have a variety of additional needs. You will be working with pupils in the classroom and in specialist 1:1 mentoring sessions. This school will offer excellent support and training to all new starters.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or related field.
- Strong knowledge of psychological theories, research methodologies, and ethical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using relevant software or tools for data analysis or research purposes.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to undergo the process.
