Graduate Trainee Accountant

REED are partnered with a well-established accountancy practice based in Wimbledon, offering a range of services to their clients, including audit, accounting, tax, and advisory. They are looking for a university graduate to join their team and take their first step into accountancy practice in supporting their senior accountants.

As a junior accountant, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting in audit procedures for a variety of clients, including planning, testing, and reporting (60%)
- Preparing and filing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies (30%)
- Assisting with tax computations and returns for individuals and businesses (10%)

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (2:2 or above)
- AAT qualification or studying towards a professional qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. Xero)
