Join the dynamic team at South Bank Colleges as a Finance Officer. In this role, you will have the chance to actively engage with all managers and staff at all levels within the college, within all tiers of the structure, making a real impact on the staff and student experience.
We are looking for a committed individual who has experience of purchase ledger and payments or of processing payments and experience of analysing financial data and preparing reports.

Outline
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Payroll, the post holder will be the lead professional managing the day-to-day treasury, banking and income generation activities, invoicing of tuition fees, local authorities, and other debtors.
The post holder will work closely with other finance colleagues within SBC and with the wider London South Bank University (LSBU) Group team, forging collaborative and supportive working relationships while fully supporting the College(s) in the delivery of a financially sustainable operating environment.
You will also assist in month end accounting and reporting tasks, journal posting, updating the cashbook, and maintaining regular bank reconciliation tasks.
Skills & Experience:
Candidate will hold Personal skills in English, Mathematics and ICT by holding Level 2 qualifications with a 5-year currency (or by undertaking initial assessments at job interview stage and by achieving Level 2 within one year of their appointment date as appropriate) and qualified AAT or equivalent (or part qualified plus experience)
