Partnerships Manager
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
3 year funded role with the opportunity to become permanent.
Flexible working: 37.5 hours per week but we are very happy to discuss reduced or condensed hours.
Location: Either Chorley or Blackburn with lots of time out and about across Lancashire meeting potential partners. There will also be the opportunity for some home working.

Inspire Youth Zone, Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone, and Preston Youth Zone are all independent, locally run charities in the Lancashire region which work to inspire young people to reach their full potential. They are all part of the OnSide Youth Zone network, which provides support for young people in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the country. The youth zones are filled with high-quality equipment and facilities, and passionate and experienced youth workers who believe in the power of young people.

About the Role

This is a brand-new role working across three youth zones in the Lancashire region. These include the Blackburn Youth Zone, which has changed the lives of young people in Blackburn and Darwen for 10 years and has recently opened a centre in Darwen; Inspire Youth Zone in Chorley, which has just celebrated 5 years of supporting the local community; and Preston Youth Zone, which is due to open its doors in 2025.

The Partnerships Manager will play a key role in developing new strategies to increase investment in the area. You'll work closely with the fundraising teams across the three sites to enable strong partnerships between funders and youth zones. You'll be responsible for maintaining, developing and leveraging existing relationships with the Lancashire Project Development Board, and you will be involved in organising events and activities to develop relationships with potential donors. This role will really focus on pipeline development, building strong relationships with potential partners and offering bespoke sponsorship opportunities/products.

About You

This role would suit either an experienced partnerships manager with a proven track record of securing five-figure gifts from donors through face-to-face meetings, a business development/ account management/sales professional experienced in building and maintaining partnerships.

You'll have strong communication, organisation, and listening skills. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine passion for giving every young person the opportunity to reach their individual potential.
