Are you a creative and innovative Graphic Designer looking for new opportunities?
We are looking for a talented individual to join our expanding venues team as an in-house Graphic Designer. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our marketing and branding efforts across our diverse portfolio of venues, including some of the most iconic visitor attractions and destinations in the UK. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to create visually compelling designs that align with our ongoing strategy and resonate with our varied target audiences.
- Designing a range of marketing collateral including print materials, digital assets, signage, menus, and promotional materials for Restaurant Associates' venues.
- Developing visual concepts and brand identities for new venue launches and marketing campaigns.
- Creating engaging content for social media platforms, email newsletters, and website updates.
- Collaborating with internal and external client marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
- Supporting on other creative projects such as photography shoots and videography
- Contributing creative ideas and insights to marketing brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings.
- Work closely with venues General Managers to bring to life incoming briefs and manage project workflow.
- Ability to produce concepts, presentations, and present work with confidence.
- Help to elevate the overall standard of design work across our venues
- Work on identifying and presenting new creative opportunities for the business.
- Share design best practice advice to other marketing professionals from across the wider business
- Keeping up to date with, and communicating, the latest design trends and industry innovations.
- Understand key commercial objectives and reflect these effectively in design work across our venues.
- Ensure all projects are accurately recorded and tracked.
Our Ideal Graphic Designer will:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) working as a designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across multiple channels.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software including Canva.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to translate conceptual ideas into visually appealing designs.
- Knowledge of typography, colour theory, and visual composition principles.
- Good knowledge of digital and print best practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter who constantly scans new approaches, innovations and opportunities and present these ideas to the team.
- Excited about food, service and people and has their finger on the pulse of what is current and trending.
- Previous experience within the hospitality sector is a plus, but not necessary.
- A personable and can-do individual who has a genuine passion for design.
