- Lead and manage end-to-end GRC projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within the allocated timeframes and budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and roadblocks that may impact project success, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely resolution.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment between GRC and IT systems.
- Evaluate GRC software solutions, including Open Pages, and provide recommendations on implementation strategies, customization, and configuration to meet business needs.
- Conduct regular status meetings, provide project updates to stakeholders, and escalate critical issues as necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to GRC, and incorporate them into the project management approach.
- Collaborate with the training and change management teams to develop training materials and communication plans to facilitate user adoption of GRC solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree would be advantageous.
- Proven experience (10+ years) as a Technical Product/Program Manager, leading GRC projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong knowledge of GRC frameworks, such as COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST, and their application in financial institutions.
- Familiarity with GRC software solutions, particularly Open Pages, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Excellent understanding of the financial industry, regulatory compliance requirements, and associated risks.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexity.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including the ability to drive collaboration and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISA, or CRISC would be a plus.
