We are representing a group of companies involved in the provision of rail services and products, to the passenger and freight sector. Their mission is to improve the asset performance, availability and end user experience for their customers while providing opportunities for their talented workforce to develop, meet and exceed the challenges presented by the sector.
As a result of their continued expansion, there now exists a significant opportunity to expand the group's executive leadership team. A key role available within this mission is a Group Business Development Director to take responsibility for developing and executing the Group's strategy for business growth in both passenger and freight sectors, through visible leadership and strong engagement with new and existing customers.
Reporting to the CEO, the Business Development Director will play a pivotal role as part the senior leadership function to achieve the Group's key strategic growth objective.
The successful candidate will be highly presentable with strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to operate at all levels, both internally and externally. Ideally coming from a background within rail services, you can demonstrate a successful history of wining work in this dynamic sector, significant commercial & sales experience, with proven track record of increasing B2B sales within rail, then this is a fantastic opportunity in an excellent business where you will be challenged.
