Group Finance Data Analyst

Your new company is an established business based in Central Reading (onsite parking) who are going through a period of growth and transformation. Your new role is a newly created position reporting to the Finance Director. You will play a crucial role in optimising the operational efficiency, enhancing decision-making processes, and contributing to the overall success of our business. Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Analysis:
• Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the commercial team to identify areas for improvement in operations and resource allocation.
• Performance Metrics : Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the performance of the business. Including providing regular reports and dashboards to management highlighting performance metrics and trends.
• Predictive Analysis: Produce statistical models and predictive analytics to forecast demand, revenues and other relevant variables, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Data Visualisation Create visually appealing and informative dashboards and reports for various stakeholders both within the business, including Director team, and externally. Communicate complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner.
• Data Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data used for analysis.

What you'll need to succeed is a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights. Working predominantly alongside both the finance and commercial teams, this role is a unique opportunity to work across all departments in the business.
