Job Description
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and compliance programmes
- Lead and inspire a team of Risk and compliance professionals
- Ensure all operations adhere to industry regulations and standards
- Conduct risk assessments and audits across the business
- Monitor and report on risk exposure and compliance
- Engage with senior stakeholders to advise on risk and compliance matters
- Drive continuous improvement in risk management and compliance processes
- Respond to any risk and compliance incidents promptly and effectively
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Head of Risk should have:
- A solid understanding of Risk management, ideally within the Transport & Distribution industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Relevant educational qualifications in risk management or a related field
