Job Title:Group Management Accountant

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annun

Overview:
A leading commercial real estate business, is seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the month-end processes, business partnering with key departments, and contributing to the financial success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Management:

• Handle month-end processes for the head office, specifically focusing on overheads.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision-making.

Business Partnering:

• Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Finance, and IT, to understand and support their financial needs.
• Provide financial guidance to aid in strategic decision-making and optimise business performance.

Financial Reporting:

• Consolidate monthly board packs, presenting financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and monthly budgets to assist in planning and resource allocation.

Management Reporting:

• Generate and analyze management reports to assess financial performance against key metrics.
• Contribute insights and recommendations to drive business improvements.

Group VAT:

• Oversee group VAT compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and reporting requirements.

Variance Analysis

• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Provide explanations for budget variances to aid in decision-making.

Experience with Business Central:

• While not essential, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is desired.

Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Previous experience as a Management Accountant in either practice or industry.

Location and Working Arrangements:

• The role is based in Central London
• Three days a week in the office is required.
