Job Title:Group Management Accountant
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annun
Overview:
A leading commercial real estate business, is seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the month-end processes, business partnering with key departments, and contributing to the financial success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Management:
- Handle month-end processes for the head office, specifically focusing on overheads.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision-making.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Finance, and IT, to understand and support their financial needs.
- Provide financial guidance to aid in strategic decision-making and optimise business performance.
Financial Reporting:
- Consolidate monthly board packs, presenting financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Prepare quarterly forecasts and monthly budgets to assist in planning and resource allocation.
Management Reporting:
- Generate and analyze management reports to assess financial performance against key metrics.
- Contribute insights and recommendations to drive business improvements.
Group VAT:
- Oversee group VAT compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
Variance Analysis
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Provide explanations for budget variances to aid in decision-making.
Experience with Business Central:
- While not essential, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is desired.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience as a Management Accountant in either practice or industry.
Location and Working Arrangements:
- The role is based in Central London
- Three days a week in the office is required.
