If you are an experienced P6 Planner within the construction industry and looking for a permanent opportunity with career growth, then this could be for you?
You will need to be a highly motivated individual who can confidently oversee planning activities. Working with your colleagues across various departments to deliver successful project delivery.
ABOUT YOU
Solid track record as a Planner within the construction and civil engineering sector
Degree in civil engineering, construction management (or related field)
Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Asta
Proficient in both NEC and JCT forms of contracts
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail
Experienced working to strict deadlines
Ability to assess complex projects requirements and deliver solutions
Time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experienced with working to UK construction regulations - Health and Safety Standards and Environmental
Hold a valid UK driving licence and open to travel to sites in the UK as and when required
YOUR NEW ROLE
Develop and implement effective planning strategies - aligning with project objectives, timelines and within budget
Work with Project Managers and Engineers to collate all project requirements, specifications and constraints to then create project schedules
In depth analysis of project requirements - This will include site conditions, logistics, available resource, identifying potential risks
Create detailed project schedules
Monitor and track progress of projects
Provide regular updates to project teams and stakeholders
Work closely with procurement ,supply chain teams and estimating team
Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes
Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and technology advancements
Support and guide junior planners
