Group Procurement Services Manager
Salary up to £75,000 plus benefits circa £90,000
UK Hybrid role - candidate will reside near one of the UK offices, ideally either Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Sheffield, Bristol (other big Cities considered)
The Group Procurement team will be transforming and improving business operations globally.
The primary focus will be the development, management and delivery of initiatives and activities, and coordination of group activity, to support the transformation and delivery of the Group Procurement strategy and maintain a cohesive global procurement program. You will report to and work closely alongside the Group Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, across a broad range of areas and scope.
You will use your experiences and skills to take ownership, drive forward and assume responsibility for change and improvement activities, remit with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders inside and outside of the global procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
- Have significant knowledge of global/multi-regional delivery/project/change management within a procurement function, within a services environment. You may have guided or been a senior member of a transformation program within procurement, involving systems, process, and policy.
- Are highly knowledgeable regarding procurement and supply chain systems and technology, functionality, how they are used and how best to harness their capabilities to delivery improvements to procurement processes and outcomes.
- Have knowledge of best practice approaches to procurement, due diligence and risk, negotiation, and supply chain operations. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the challenges faced by organizations around their supply chains, and practical tangible approaches to delivering solutions.
- Have knowledge of delivering change and improvement initiatives in complex environments involving diverse stakeholders
- Hold a bachelor’s degree and be professionally qualified (MCIPS) - or equivalent.
