Group Reporting Accountant

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the Group Reporting Accountant will play an integral role in managing group and statutory reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

Description

As Group Reporting Accountant, key reponsibilities will include:

• Manage the statutory reporting for the organisation, including drafting of the statutory accounts
• Manage the monthly consolidation process and providing information to key stakeholders
• Continually improving the reporting process
• Being involved in the implementation and maintenance of new accounting systems
• Deliver training programmes to finance and non-finance colleagues on areas of accounting under IFRS.

Profile

As Group Reporting Accountant, you will:

• Have a strong academic background with an accountancy qualification
• Experience working for or with multinational FTSE / listed companies demonstrating strong technical skills
• Previous experience with global, multi-currency consolidations in line with IFRS; experience of delivering group monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory financial reporting and an external audit process
• Strong technical proficiency in IFRS
• Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to reason, persuade and influence effectively.
