Description
As Group Reporting Accountant, key reponsibilities will include:
- Manage the statutory reporting for the organisation, including drafting of the statutory accounts
- Manage the monthly consolidation process and providing information to key stakeholders
- Continually improving the reporting process
- Being involved in the implementation and maintenance of new accounting systems
- Deliver training programmes to finance and non-finance colleagues on areas of accounting under IFRS.
Profile
As Group Reporting Accountant, you will:
- Have a strong academic background with an accountancy qualification
- Experience working for or with multinational FTSE / listed companies demonstrating strong technical skills
- Previous experience with global, multi-currency consolidations in line with IFRS; experience of delivering group monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory financial reporting and an external audit process
- Strong technical proficiency in IFRS
- Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to reason, persuade and influence effectively.
