SalaryOur client, is looking for a Group Reporting and Regulatory Accountant to join the Group Finance Team. This is a key role within the team, where you will business partner and engage with stakeholders across the wider business. You will be a highly valued and pivotal team member focussing on best-in-class external reporting. This role offers excellent opportunities in terms of career progression and the chance to get involved in different projects within finance.
Some responsibilities include:
- Lead and project manage the financial section of the Annual Performance Report
- Build up an expert knowledge of the business units and their financial performance
- Develop best practice processes and procedures
- Advise stakeholders on financial reporting
- Provide training, advice and challenges to a range of stakeholders
- Support with ad hoc projects ongoing in the business
- Key contact for External Audit queries
Requirements:
- Newly/recently qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Team player, with experience working towards a common objective within tight deadlines
- Experience using an IT system beneficial
