I am currently working exclusively with a leading listed commodities group that are headquartered in central London. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Reporting Manager to oversee the financial consolidations & SOX requirements across the Group. Reporting to the CFO you will be joining the business at an exciting time as it is about to undergo ambitious expansion plans.
Duties include:
- Responsible for overseeing the Group finance consolidation function to ensure the accuracy of reporting from all the various countries, reporting to the FD
- Support the delivery of all financial reporting requirements and ensure that Group-wide internal and external reporting deadlines are met at all times.
- Support the Group external audit
- Oversee all IFRS reporting and ensure accounting policies are communicated and consistently applied across the
- Ensure compliance with IFRS with financial controls and other relevant regulations in collaboration with CFO and legal team.
- Manage the Group SOX review and implementation program and ensure SOX compliance across the group is reviewed and
- Identify and implement strong financial controls, appropriate risk management systems covering financial processes, system efficiencies and process improvements Group wide.
Experience:
- Qualified Accountant, ideally trained within big four practice.
- Extensive experience in leading financial consolidation processes within a multinational
- Experience of multicurrency
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements and a proven track record in managing SOX
