SalaryGlobal Provider of Technology services to the Oil and Gas industry seeking a GSS Data Analyst to join them on a contract basis.
Your primary objecting will to be acquire, log, analyze and report well behavior to aid safe and efficient operations. You will monitor all drilling parameters, well bore parameters and maintaining the gas detection equipment.
The position is open to GSS Data Analysts who have 5+ years of experience and academic qualifications in either Geology, Geological applied sciences or Earth Sciences.
*Position is based either remote from UK but with occasional off-shore travel - valid right to work in UK required, no sponsorship provided*
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for, the effective management of the Mud Logging Unit, including personnel, equipment, supplies and maintenance, and rig up/down.
* Is in charge of monitoring, recording and processing all well data and parameters, and the integrity and reliability of the well data.
* Is responsible for communicating to the Client representatives any information regarding primary well control and well integrity during well site operations
* Ensuring the design of an accurate and comprehensive Drilling log according to the Client's format.
Day rate is between �350-500 per day (PAYE) dependent on experience.
