Guest Services Executive - Front of house & Reservation London, Kensington - £27,000 - £29,000

8:30am - 8:30pm 4 on and 4 off.
This is a great opportunity is to join an fantastic team, who are proudly delivering a high standard of customer services within a luxury serviced apartment brand. This position would suit someone currently in a busy reservations or reception position from a 4* or 5* hotel looking for a varied position with more responsiblity and better worklife balance with set hours.
Key responsibilities:
* Build and maintain relationships with our guests, clients, bookers, travel agents and colleagues, First point of contact for all guests
* Carry out show rounds for potential guests, bookers, and travel agents.
* When required to seek for new business opportunities, prepare price comparison and other market related activities
* Responsible for booking Taxis and Limousine, e.g. guests and clients.
* Handling all incoming enquiries in a professional manner, maximizing occupancy monitoring rates and ensuring availability on all channels.
* Acting as a Duty Manager while on shift alone, in addition to offering support to our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams
* Providing excellent customer service by responding to guest enquires in a timely manner and assuring our guests are always accommodated to the highest standards.
* Conducting check ins, check outs and undertaking apartment familiarisation tours.
* Handling and resolving complaints, escalate when necessary
* Working with Housekeeping to ensure that cleaning standards are maintained, conduct checks on apartments prior to guest arrival; Ensure the cleaning standards and presentation of the
communal areas are up to the highest standard.
* To ensure that maintenance issues are reported and dealt with, and monitored as required
* Liaise with all other colleagues to ensure the smooth running of all the apartments
* Act as a custodian to both buildings whilst on duty
* Take payments and reservations, managing extensions
Knowledge, skills, experience:
* Previous experience of customer service within a serviced apartment, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred (Ideally 4* high or 5-star service)
* Excellent hospitality and communication skills - fluent written and oral English
* Strong customer service skills
* Knowledge of hospitality in the area especially with local high-end operators, events and activities.
* Can-do attitude and great problem-solving skills
* Organised and proactive
* An eye for detail
* Level-headed, calm and pragmatic, exquisite appearance
